It maximises use of land to achieve a large home In a relatively small land. A well designed and crafted skylights in the centre of the house creates an autrium feel while adding plenty of natural light and natural ventilation to the residence, without using fossil fuelled energy, enhancing passive climate control. This design reduces the need for artificial heating and cooling, aligning with our sustainable policy . The Challenge of the Irregular Block: Turning Constraints into Creativity One of the most defining aspects of Reve is its location on an irregular block. In many cases, irregular plots can be seen as a limitation, but the designers behind Reve saw it as an opportunity to push the boundaries of modern architecture. Instead of forcing a traditional design onto the site, the architects embraced the irregular shape, allowing it to inform the overall layout and flow of the house. The irregular block led to the creation of a dynamic and unique floor plan that sets Reve apart from more conventional homes. By carefully positioning the house on the plot and utilizing every inch of space, the designers were able to create a home that feels both expansive and intimate.
